Psychodynamic Drama and Movement Therapist

(Adults, Young People)

Teena is an HCPC-registered therapist with extensive experience working in the UK and India across NHS, private, community, and educational settings. She has supported individuals presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. She aims to offer a therapeutic space that is containing and reflective, while also gently challenging and offering opportunities for growth within a non-judgemental environment.

Through a client-centred approach, she works with those who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, trauma, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, addiction, and personality-related difficulties. She also supports those who feel curious, stuck, or are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves.

She has particular experience working with clients who experience difficulties around body image, identity, and eating. She also works with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, and those navigating complex relational or developmental challenges. Her practice is inclusive of LGBTQ+ identities and experiences, and she has experience supporting clients in exploring identity, attachment, relationships, and belonging.

Her approach is psychodynamic and trauma-informed, integrating drama and movement to support expression beyond words. Sessions may involve creative exploration, embodiment, and reflective dialogue, allowing clients to process experiences at their own pace. Teena works collaboratively, supporting clients to develop greater emotional awareness, resilience, and a deeper knowing of themselves.
