Kelly is a HCPC registered Creative Arts Psychotherapist (Dramatherapist) and a Social Worker with 8 years’ experience working across schools, NHS, and community mental health settings. She supports children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and relational difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma-related difficulties, grief, and relational challenges. She also has experience working with children and young people presenting with emotional and behavioural difficulties linked to adverse or complex life experiences, including difficulties with emotional regulation, attachment, and adjustment. Her work is grounded in an understanding of developmental and relational processes across the lifespan.
Kelly has a particular interest in disenfranchised grief, supporting experiences of loss that may not be openly recognised or socially acknowledged. She is also committed to culturally responsive practice, with a strong focus on multicultural sensitivity, identity, and belonging within therapeutic work.
Her approach integrates dramatherapy, psychodynamic thinking, and social work perspectives. She offers a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where both verbal and non-verbal expressions of experience can be explored, often incorporating creative methods.
Starting therapy can feel uncertain, especially if you are used to coping alone. If Kelly’s approach resonates with you, you are welcome to reach out. If she is not the right fit, she gently encourages you to continue seeking the support you need.
