Helen is a HCPC registered psychotherapist with 10 years experience of working with individuals & groups across NHS, private, corporate and charity settings.   

She works with a wide range of clients; from those who are looking for a safe yet challenging space to reflect and grow, to those who are in need of support with a specific mental health issue. Specifically, she supports adult clients with a range of concerns including, low self esteem, anxiety, stress, low mood, bereavement, adverse childhood experiences, relationship issues, matresence.

She works with a psychodynamic, creative approach to offer you a space that is non-judgemental, empathic and safe. Her person-centered approach is typically explorative - she shares reflections and observations, will encourage you to reflect deeply, and support you to feel through (as well as think through) the challenges you are bringing to therapy. She also incorporates cognitive behavioural theory and methods in her practice, where appropriate for the clients.

She has a special interest in working with clients who are struggling with body image and disordered eating, as well as working with artists, performers and creatives. Her practice is LGBT+ and neurodiversity affirming.
